Glass
We offer four different types of glass for frames: normal glass, acrylic glass (plexiglass), non-reflective glass and museum glass. If you are framing a poster that you really like, we recommend museum glass, as it provides optimum protection against UV rays and thus preserves the poster best. However, there is also about 40% UV protection in the other types of glass.
Mount
A mount is a cardboard frame, inside the picture frame itself, which brings the poster into focus without casting shadows on the poster from the frame or mount. This is also called a Mat or Passepartout. Here you can purchase a mount for this dark green 30x30 wooden frame, which fits 20x20 cm posters.
If you have a 30x30 cm poster that you want to frame with a mount, you need to buy a frame that is 70x70 cm, 60x60 cm, 50x50 cm or 40x40 cm. All these square frames can be purchased with a mount that fits 30x30 posters.
