Dark red wooden poster frame with the almost square 40x50 cm format, and an elegant 14 mm wide and deep wooden frame. The dark red lacquer has a smooth and glossy surface and the frame has rounded corners, just like all our colored frames with shiny lacquer.
Glass
There are four different types of glass to choose from for this red 40x50 wooden frame: Acrylic glass (plexiglass), normal glass, non-reflective glass and museum glass, which provide optimal protection against UV rays, thus preserving the colors of the poster as best as possible. The acrylic glass weighs less than the three types of real glass. It cannot come apart and comes with a protective foil. When the foil is removed, it is as clear as normal glass and museum glass. The non-reflective glass is more matt, but the poster will still stand out most clearly in this glass, as there is almost no glare in the glass.

Passepartout / Mat / Mount
We also offer passepartout for all our picture frames. For all our 40x50 cm frames, we offer white passepartout which fits 30x40 cm or 29.7x42 cm (A3) posters. We always make the hole size 1 cm smaller (e.g. 29x39 cm), so that the passepartout overlaps the poster by 0.5 cm.
If you have special wishes for color or cutout dimensions, just buy a custom passepartout. Here you define the exact measurements yourself, and have many colors to choose from.
