Blue mount with a dark shade and a little more structure in the cardboard than the other mount colours, which you have to get close to notice.
The hole is cut at a 45 degree angle, revealing the white cardboard behind the blue surface. It gives a nice white line throughout the mount and poster.
As we sell valuable poster art, we only use acid-free cardboard for mount.
Dark blue mount fits nicely with both oak frames, the light wooden frames and almost all the colored frames - especially the blue frames. It certainly also adds something positive to the golden frames!
Mount is also called Mat or Passepartout.
Choose the exact measurements
In the Outer dimensions, you must specify the dimensions that your frame has. The dimensions of the frame are always the dimensions of the glass - and the size of the poster that the frame can use - i.e. without the width of the frame itself.
For Inner dimensions, you must specify the exact hole measurement that you will use. It is recommended that you deduct 1 cm from the width and height of the picture to be framed. That gives you half a centimeter to fix the image on the back of the mount. If you want to frame a 20x32 cm picture, you must therefore choose 19x31 cm as the inner dimension.
