Green 40x40 picture frame with a matt dark green lacquer on a 15 mm deep and wide wooden frame. One of our favourites, and a very popular frame among our customers.

Glass

With a PlakatKunst wooden frame, you always have the choice between four glasses. Acrylic glass (plexiglass) or one of the three types of real high-quality glass, namely ordinary glass, non-reflective glass or museum glass. If you want to frame art or a picture that you want to take good care of, you should choose museum glass, as it provides the best protection against the UV rays that come from the light and wear down the colors of the picture.

Passepartout / Mat / Mount

You can buy white passepartout of 1.5 mm acid-free cardboard for all our 40x40 cm frames, which fit 30x30 cm or 20x20 cm pictures. The cutout will be 1 cm smaller, e.g. 29x29 cm, so you have 5 mm to attach the poster to the back of your passepartout with tape.

Do you own a 40x40 cm picture that you would like to have in a frame with passepartout? Then you should look at our 70x70 cm frames, 60x60 cm frames or 50x50 cm frames. The obvious choice would be a dark green 50x50 cm frame or a dark green 60x60 cm frame. They can all be purchased with a passepartout for a poster with the size 40x40 cm.
