Matte red 40x40 cm picture frame in a true red shade with a completely smooth finish. The wooden frame is 15mm deep and wide, just like all the other colored frames with a matte finish that we sell.
Glass
Choose between four types of glass for your frame: normal glass, acrylic glass (plexiglass), non-reflective glass or museum glass. If you want to frame a poster you hold dear, you should consider museum glass, as it protects much better against UV rays.

Passepartout / Mat / Mount
Passepartout is a frame made of acid-free cardboard, which is placed inside the picture frame itself. A passepartout focuses on the poster without casting a shadow on the poster. You can purchase passepartout for all our 40x40 frames, which match 30x30 cm or 20x20 cm posters.
We always cut our passepartouts 1 cm smaller in height and width than the intended poster, so that there is 0.5 cm all around to attach the poster to the back of the passepartout.
If you want to frame a 40x40 poster with passepartout, you should look at our 70x70 cm frames , 60x60 cm frames or 50x50 cm frames. For example, a matte red 50x50 cm frame or matte red 60x60 cm frame, with passepartout for 40x40 cm posters.
