50x50 picture frame with a matt black lacquer and a smooth surface. The frame is 20 mm wide and 30 cm deep. You can also buy black 50x50 frames with a narrow 15x15 mm frame here . 50x50 is the only square frame that we offer online with both a narrow and wide frame. You can only buy the larger square frames 70x70 and 60x60 in the wide version online, while we use narrower frames for the smaller square frames 40x40 and 30x30.
Glass
When you buy one of our frames, you must choose glass. You can buy normal glass, acrylic glass (also called plexiglass), non-reflective glass or museum glass. If you want to frame a poster that you want to preserve as best as possible, we recommend the exclusive museum glass, which protects optimally against UV rays. However, the other types of glass have at least 40% protection against UV rays.
Mount
Mount is a cardboard frame inside the poster frame itself. This is also referred to as a Mat or Passepartout. A mount brings the poster more into focus, and ensures that no shadow is cast on the poster. Especially the square frames are really nice with a mount. You can only buy white mounts here in the webshop, which fit posters in the sizes 40x40 cm and 30x30 cm.
