Glass
When you buy a 60x60 cm wooden frame or smaller, you get to choose from four types of quality glass. Normal glass, acrylic glass (also called Plexiglas, light and shatter-free), non-reflective glass or museum glass. If you want to frame a picture that you want to take extra good care of, we always recommend museum glass, as it offers the best protection against UV rays.

Passepartout / Mat / Mount
Passepartout is a white frame of 1.5 mm acid-free cardboard which is placed inside the picture frame itself between the glass and the poster. For all our 60x60 picture frames, we offer white passepartout, which fits 50x50 cm, 40x40 cm and 30x30 cm posters. Passepartout for e.g. a 30x30 cm poster has a hole size of 29x29 cm, so you get half a cm to tape the poster to the back of the passepartout.
If you have special wishes for size or colour, you just have to buy a made-to-measure passepartout. Here you must define the exact measurements yourself and choose from more colours.
