vintage-solvramme-15mm-20x25
Vintage silver frame - Narrow (15 mm) - 20x25 cm

About the frame

20×25 cm (7.87 x 9.84 in) is very similar to the American 8×10 inch size that is popular for photographs and art prints – but 8×10 inches is a touch larger, so it is a good idea to measure your print before ordering. A classic portrait or black-and-white landscape gets a stylish, aged setting with fine crackle in the silver-coloured frame, bringing to mind old photo studios. The profile is 15 mm wide and 16 mm deep, and the front covers 5 mm along the edges. The cool silver tone gives grey tones and soft shadows in a photograph more depth in particular. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.

Glass

- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 20×25 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.

Compare images and read more.
