Framebox - Custom size

Only available in the EU

Danish-produced framebox, handmade to order with exactly the dimensions you want. Our framesbox can be made with exactly the dimensions you need, from 20x20 cm up to 120x160 cm.

When you specify the dimensions that your frame should have, you must specify the dimensions of the glass. The glass goes 5 mm under the frame, so a 50x50 cm framebox will only have 49x49 cm of visible glass, and the entire framebox including the wooden frame will be 51x51 cm, as the wooden frames (which we use for framebox) are all 2 cm wide.

Please note that our framebox are supplied with white, acid-free paper as standard. If you want a firmer and finer background - possibly in one colour - you can purchase a passepartout without a hole. The colour of the white spacers is more similar to the white passepartout than the white paper.

Profile

You can choose from seven different types of wood for your framebox: Light oak, dark oak, solid untreated oak, black wood, white wood, silver wood and gold wood. All profiles are 20 mm wide and 30 mm deep.

Glass

We offer three types of high-quality real glass for our framesbox. We have chosen not to use acrylic glass in our framebox as it is too flexible to give the optimal result.

You can choose between normal glass, non-reflective glass or museum glass. The latter two have virtually no reflections in the glass. The anti-reflective glass is slightly matte, whereas the museum glass is completely clear and also protects against UV rays by at least 70% - about twice as much as the other types of glass.

Passepartout

Passepartout can be purchased in many beautiful colors. You choose which hole we will cut, or whether you want a whole piece of acid-free passepartout cardboard, which you can mount your picture on with, for example, acid-free double-sided adhesive tape.

If we need to cut a hole, we will ask you for the dimensions of the poster that we want behind your mat. Please note that we will subtract 1 cm from these measurements so that the mat overlaps the poster by 5 mm.
