Aluminum frames are modern and minimalist and can add a more industrial touch to your artwork. Our aluminum frames have the advantage of being narrower than wooden frames. Our 30x40 aluminum frames are available in matte black, matte silver or a shiny glossy gold.
We sell both standard aluminum frames and premium aluminum frames. The advantage of the Premium frames is especially the way they are screwed together and thus the durability, but for 30x40 frames the standard frame is perfectly fine. If you want a premium frame, it must be purchased as a special measure , where they can be made to the exact size you need - even 30x40 cm.

Glass for 30x40 frames
When choosing a frame for your 30x40 artwork, it's important to consider the type of glass to use to protect against UV light, reflections and damage. We offer four types of glass:
Ordinary glass : The most popular type of glass for 30x40 frames. It gives a clear view of the framed picture, but does not protect well against UV rays and, like the acrylic glass, has reflections.
Non-reflective glass : Our non-reflective glass is made with real glass. It removes virtually all reflections from the glass, but very strong light will still be experienced in a blurred version. The non-reflective glass is more matte than the other types.
Museum glass : This glass blocks UV light that can cause fading and damage to your image over time. It is also called invisibility glass, as it removes reflections without being matte.
Acrylic glass : Acrylic glass is a lightweight and shatterproof alternative to real glass. It is also called plexiglass, which is, however, a German manufacturer of acrylic glass. Our acrylic for 30x40 frames is 1 mm thin and just as clear as regular glass. It is produced in Denmark.

Passepartout
If you would like to frame a 30x40 picture with a passepartout, you should choose a larger frame. For example, a 40x50 frame (5 cm wide passepartout) or a 50x60 frame (10 cm wide passepartout). You can actually choose from all of our frames that are larger than 30x40 cm to frame your 30x40 picture with a passepartout.
All our frames can be purchased with a passepartout, where you specify the dimensions of the picture you want to frame. We then make the hole 10 mm smaller, so that the poster goes 5 mm under the passepartout and can be easily taped onto it.
You can therefore use a 30x40 frame to frame any picture with dimensions smaller than 30x40 cm.
