40x40 framed with
Passepartout
Using a passepartout is a great way to give your framing a luxurious and professional look.
A passe-partout acts as an extra frame within the frame, creating a visual gap between the poster and the glass. This effect gives a sense of air and depth that really makes the subject stand out. In addition, the passe-partout also protects the poster from direct contact with the glass, which can prevent condensation and damage to the image.
Passepartouts are available in different widths, so you can choose how much focus you want on the image.
Our 40x40 frames can be purchased with a passepartout hole for any poster smaller than 40x40 cm.
For a 40x40 poster, we recommend a 50x50 frame with a 5 cm passe-partout width or a 60x60 frame with a 10 cm width. These dimensions provide a nice balance between the motif and the surrounding white area.

Delivery of
40x40 picture frames
Delivery of 40x40 frames is simple and relatively affordable depending on your location. We produce all our frames in Denmark, so the closer you live to Denmark, the cheaper it is to receive our frames. Most EU countries pay 15 EUR for shipping frames smaller than 70x100 cm.
If your frame is damaged during transport, we will immediately send a new one at no extra cost - of course.

An important decision about
Glass for your 40x40 frame
We offer four types of glass, so you can choose the solution that best suits your needs.
Our acrylic glass (plexiglass) is lightweight and shatterproof and provides the same clear reflections as regular glass.
The three varieties of real glass include regular glass, non-reflective glass and museum glass. Non-reflective glass eliminates glare with its matte surface, while museum glass combines non-reflectiveness with clarity and protects your poster with over 70% UV protection.
