50x70 frames
Fortunately, it is not too expensive to have a 50x70 picture frames delivered. But the price obviously depends on your location. When you reach Checkout you will see the prices. EU shipments is significantly cheaper than international shipments.

Narrow or wide?
50x70 frames are the largest standard format that we offer with all our profiles. You can choose from all our colored frames. 14 mm (glossy) or 15 mm (matte), as well as the narrow 9 mm aluminum frames as well as the full-width 20 mm wooden frames. The wide oak frame can be purchased as 20 or 30mm deep and the narrow oak frame is 12mm like walnut.
Even with the narrow wooden frames, there is nothing to worry about when the frame is no larger than 50x70.

Passepartout
Framing with passepartout can lift your poster to new heights, with a more exclusive expression.
We have 11 colors to choose from for all 50x70 frames - actually for all frames up to 70x100 cm.
If you want to frame a 50x70 poster with passepartout, you must buy a larger frame. The obvious choice would be a 60x80 frame, with a 5 cm wide passepartout.
See our selection of 60x80 frames, and choose passepartout with space for a 50x70 poster. When you buy a passepartout from PlakatKunst, you can always choose which poster there should be room for inside your passepartout. You just specify the dimensions of the poster, and we automatically make the hole 1 cm smaller than these dimensions, so that the passepartout overlaps the poster by 5 mm. In this way, the poster can be easily attached to the back of the passepartout with tape.
Non-reflective, UV protection or both?
Choice of glass
We offer four types of glass for all our 50x70 frames.
The acrylic glass (also called Plexiglas) that we have chosen to sell, looks confusingly like ordinary glass. This means that you not only get a light and shatter-free glass, but also a glass that is completely clear with clear reflections.
We also offer three types of real glass, namely regular glass as well as non-reflective glass and museum glass, both of which limit reflections. However, the museum glass does it without being matte like the non-reflective glass, and it also has more than 70% UV protection, which means that the colors of the poster are taken care of very well.
50x70 frames without
Insert paper
Our frames are supplied without insert paper as standard, as it is usually just thrown away anyway. We would like to avoid that waste.
If you want insert paper, you can buy a nice piece of high-quality white paper, or a 1.5 passepartout without a hole (0x0 cm) if it needs to be top notch.
This solution can be great for real art, which can be attached with e.g. acid-free double-sided tape. However, you need to be very careful if your artwork is very delicate.
