Backing paper

White acid-free backing paper of the highest quality. You place it between the poster and the backing board, which gives your picture extra protection. Regular posters do not need liner paper, but if you need to frame valuable art or other delicate paper, it may be a good idea to use acid-free backing paper.

This thick backing paper has a nice shade and texture, so you can also place a smaller picture on top of the paper with double-sided tape as an alternative to a passepartout. However, it can also be super nice to use both a passepartout and an insert paper, which you can see a few millimeters between the passepartout and the picture.
