Beautiful frames for

Beautiful posters

Unique posters deserve the highest quality frames, with UV protective glass and a wide but limited range of colours. That is why we have entered into cooperation with Denmark's probably the best producer of exclusive picture frames. Here we have four types of glass to choose from - not least a really delicious museum glass, at a price where everyone can join.

Canadian oak

Oak frames

Our oak frames are made of 100% solid oak from Canadian forests, produced to order in Denmark. As you can see in the picture, there is great variation in the structure of the oak tree, which makes it both beautiful and unpredictable. The oak tree is not selective in relation to what it absorbs from the ground, and is receptive to nature's elements in general, so there are many factors that have a hand in the tree's structure.

If you want a more uniform expression in the structure of the wood, you should consider the light wooden frames , which are also incredibly popular.

The oak frames come in three different formats:

  • 12 x 18 mm
  • 20 x 20 mm
  • 20 x 30 mm

The 12 mm narrow oak frame is the narrowest wooden frame we have. The other narrow wooden frames are 14-15 mm in width. We do not produce narrow wooden frames in a larger format than 50 x 70 cm .

Matt or glossy?

Frames in many colors

Colored frames are really popular these days, and for good reason. They can compliment the colors of the photos really nicely, and offer creative possibilities with passepartout or insert paper.

We sell two types of colored frames. Frames with a matte surface and frames with a glossy surface. The matte frames are 15x15 mm, while the glossy ones are 14x14 mm, but actually appear narrower, due to the more rounded corners.

All our colored frames - including the white and black ones - have a completely smooth surface, so you can't see the structure of the wood.

The colored frames are made with the exotic wood Ayous, also known as obeche, abachi, samba and wawa. Gibson and Fender have, among other things, used Ayou's wood to produce guitars.

Keep the posters with you

Museum glass

We love sending the beautiful works out into the world, but we hope that the new owners will take just as good care of the posters as their previous owner. Many of the old posters have never before been framed, with which the light has not had the opportunity to destroy the beautiful colors. However, this does not have to be the case either, if you simply frame your poster in a frame with our museum glass, which protects approx. 80% against the light's UV rays.

We got a really good price for this delicious museum glass, which is made of real glass, so you don't compromise on the clarity of the glass. If you want higher UV protection, it is very expensive, and if you avoid placing the poster in direct sunlight, the colors of the posters will not fade visibly for at least the next 100 years.

Quality and precision

Hits the target

We do not frame posters, but offer frames to exactly the measurements you need - right down to the millimetre. You can choose just the glass you want, and buy passepartout with exactly the hole size you want.

It may take a little longer to deliver frames with special dimensions, but you rarely have to wait more than a week for your order to arrive.

If you would like to hold the different frames up against your posters, you are welcome at Falstersgade 19A in Aarhus C, where we have all the different profiles, and plenty of time to help you make the right choices.
