Solid oak frame - Wide (20 mm) - 100x140 cm

Oak frame for 100x140 posters, produced in Denmark with Canadian oak. A very vibrant structure in the untreated oak, which measures 2 cm in width and 3 cm in depth.

100x140 is the largest standard size that we sell. Custom frames can be purchased up to 140x200 cm. If you want a mount around a 100x140 poster, you could consider a 110x150 frame (special size). All of our frames can be purchased with a mount.

Sustainable wooden frames

The oak in our oak frames comes from sustainable Canadian forests. We have selected this particular wood for both aesthetic and sustainability reasons. The frames consist of 100% untreated solid oak.

Glass

We recommend acrylic glass (plexiglass) for the 100x140 frames, as real glass (regular glass, non-reflective glass and museum glass) has a significantly higher risk of breaking during framing, hanging and especially shipping. If the glass is broken upon receipt, you must take pictures of the box and frame and keep it in the box on the pallet. We will then of course send a new one, and take the old frame back with us upon delivery. If the glass breaks after receipt, we cannot refund or replace the frame / glass. However, we can send a new acrylic glass for a fee.

Acrylic glass, on the other hand, is problem-free. It doesn't break, and it takes a keen eye to see the difference in clarity between acrylic glass and regular glass once you've removed the protective film that the acrylic glass comes with on both sides.

If you want real glass for your 100x140 frame, you can buy it with regular glass, anti-reflective glass or the exclusive museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and with 70% UV protection.

Suspension

Our 100x140 frames come with a small plastic bag containing two brackets that must be screwed onto the inside of the oak frame with the four screws provided. The string from the bag is stretched between two brackets, after which you can hang the string on a screw in a dowel. Screw and dowel are not included, but a guide will make the whole process relatively easy and clear for you.
