About the frame
This golden premium aluminum frame gives your poster a warm and exclusive framing without dominating the artwork. The front profile is slightly curved and just 6 mm wide, while the 20 mm deep sides have fine grooves that add structure to the aluminum profile and an elegant detail from the side. The combination of the very slim front and the deeper sides gives the frame a refined and cohesive look.
The frame fits posters and pictures in 50 x 60 cm. For smaller artwork, you can add a passepartout and specify the desired cutout size yourself. You can also choose a passepartout without a cutout and place your artwork on top.
Framing and hanging
On the back, the premium frame has two movable brackets, which are used together with the included cord for hanging. The brackets can be adjusted as needed, so the frame can be hung both vertically and horizontally.
How to frame your poster:
- Loosen the screws in the four corners of the frame.
- Remove the two hanging brackets from one of the short frame bars, and take out the clamps for the backing board.
- Detach the short frame bar completely.
- Pull the glass and backing board out of the frame together.
- Place the poster between the glass and the backing board.
- Slide the glass, poster and backing board back into the aluminum frame together.
- Put the short frame bar back on and tighten the corner screws almost all the way.
- Refit the clamps so that the backing board is held tightly against the glass.
- Finally, tighten the corner screws completely.
Glass
For the golden aluminum frame, you can choose between four types of glass. Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is lightweight and shatterproof, while standard glass is the classic solution in clear, real glass. Non-reflective glass has a matte surface that reduces bothersome glare.
Museum glass is the most exclusive solution and combines very high clarity with low reflection and at least 70 % protection against UV rays. It gives a beautiful and true-to-life rendering of your artwork and at the same time helps protect the colors from fading.

Ordered a frame and it was shipped the next business day and I received it the day after. The frame is beautiful and was well packaged.
I love our beautiful frames from poster art and I had a fantastic experience with customer service. You can blindly trust them to deliver quality both aesthetically and ethically. Thank you very much ❤️ I will be buying all my frames from here.
Extremely good and proactive service, even though the error started with me, it was fixed quickly! And the frame is also super nice.
Bought 2 pieces of 100x140 frames and received very quick and knowledgeable guidance in choosing the type of wood based on pictures sent of where they should hang. They were delivered just a few days later and were very securely packaged. We are SO satisfied and this is not the last time we order from here 😄
Great service. Nice wooden frame with passepartout. Had also ordered a passepartout for another frame. However, I had misunderstood the instructions for measuring so it didn't fit. Posterkunst immediately offered to send a new one with the correct measurements. Very nice customer service.
