About the frame
Elegant premium aluminum frame in matte silver for A2 posters (42 x 59,4 cm). The slightly curved front, just 6 mm slim, gives the frame a refined and discreet look, while the characteristic grooved sides and a depth of 20 mm add more edge and substance. An aluminum frame of absolute top quality.
Framing and hanging
On the back of the premium frame there are two movable fittings. Thread the included cord through the fittings to hang the frame horizontally.
How to frame your poster:
- Loosen the screws in all four corners and take off the two fittings on one of the frame's short sides.
- Remove the small tension clips that secure the backing board.
- Detach the short frame rail.
- Carefully pull the glass and backing board out of the frame together.
- Place the poster between the glass and the backing board.
- Slide the glass, poster and backing board back into the frame.
- Put the short frame rail back on and tighten the corner screws almost fully.
- Refit the tension clips so the backing board lies tightly against the glass.
- Finally, tighten the corner screws fully.
Glass
Glass and metal are a slightly challenging combination, which is why we almost always recommend our clear, lightweight and, not least, shatterproof acrylic glass for aluminum frames. However, we also offer three types of real glass, and we will of course send a new one if the glass breaks during shipping.

Ordered a frame and it was shipped the next business day and I received it the day after. The frame is beautiful and was well packaged.
I love our beautiful frames from poster art and I had a fantastic experience with customer service. You can blindly trust them to deliver quality both aesthetically and ethically. Thank you very much ❤️ I will be buying all my frames from here.
Extremely good and proactive service, even though the error started with me, it was fixed quickly! And the frame is also super nice.
Bought 2 pieces of 100x140 frames and received very quick and knowledgeable guidance in choosing the type of wood based on pictures sent of where they should hang. They were delivered just a few days later and were very securely packaged. We are SO satisfied and this is not the last time we order from here 😄
Great service. Nice wooden frame with passepartout. Had also ordered a passepartout for another frame. However, I had misunderstood the instructions for measuring so it didn't fit. Posterkunst immediately offered to send a new one with the correct measurements. Very nice customer service.
