About the frame
Matte black premium aluminum frame for pictures and posters in 50 x 50 cm. The front, only 6 mm wide, is slightly curved and gives the frame a simple and elegant look, where the artwork gets as much space as possible. The 20 mm deep sides have a beautiful grooved structure, which adds character to the slender aluminum profile and underlines the exclusive quality of the frame.
Framing and hanging
The premium frame has two movable hangers on the back and comes with a cord for hanging. The hangers can be adjusted as needed, so the frame can be hung in the desired orientation.
How to mount the picture:
- Loosen the screws at all four corners of the frame.
- Remove the two hangers from one of the frame rails as well as the spring clips that hold the backing board in position.
- Take the frame rail completely off.
- Slide the glass and backing board out together through the open side.
- Place the picture between the glass and the backing board.
- Guide the glass, picture and backing board back into the aluminum frame.
- Put the frame rail back on, and tighten the corner screws almost all the way.
- Fit the spring clips again, so the backing board lies tightly against the glass.
- Finish by tightening the corner screws completely.
Glass
Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light, shatterproof and the cheapest choice for this black aluminum frame. It comes with protective film on both sides, which must be removed before use. After that, the acrylic glass appears clear and gives a beautiful reproduction of the artwork.
You can also choose between three types of real glass for the 50 x 50 cm frame. Standard glass gives a completely clear reproduction, but also the most glare. Non-reflective glass reduces the reflections with its matte surface, while museum glass combines high clarity with low reflection and UV protection and therefore presents the artwork best.

Ordered a frame and it was shipped the next business day and I received it the day after. The frame is beautiful and was well packaged.
I love our beautiful frames from poster art and I had a fantastic experience with customer service. You can blindly trust them to deliver quality both aesthetically and ethically. Thank you very much ❤️ I will be buying all my frames from here.
Extremely good and proactive service, even though the error started with me, it was fixed quickly! And the frame is also super nice.
Bought 2 pieces of 100x140 frames and received very quick and knowledgeable guidance in choosing the type of wood based on pictures sent of where they should hang. They were delivered just a few days later and were very securely packaged. We are SO satisfied and this is not the last time we order from here 😄
Great service. Nice wooden frame with passepartout. Had also ordered a passepartout for another frame. However, I had misunderstood the instructions for measuring so it didn't fit. Posterkunst immediately offered to send a new one with the correct measurements. Very nice customer service.
