About the frame
With its matte silver finish, this premium aluminum frame provides elegant and versatile framing for modern posters, photographs and classic artworks alike. The cool silver tone acts as a neutral contrast around dark and colorful pictures, while blending discreetly with lighter artworks.
The frame fits posters and pictures in 60 x 80 cm. If you want to frame a smaller artwork, you can add a passepartout and create more space around the picture. The slightly curved front measures just 6 mm, while the 20 mm deep sides have fine grooves that give the slender aluminum profile an exclusive detail and more character.
Framing and hanging
The premium frame is fitted with two movable fittings on the back and comes with a cord for hanging. The fittings can be adjusted to suit the frame's placement, so it can be hung both vertically and horizontally.
How to get the artwork in place:
- Loosen the screws at the four corners of the frame.
- Take the two hanging fittings off one of the short frame rails and remove the tension clips that hold the backing board in place.
- Detach the short frame rail.
- Pull the acrylic glass and backing board out of the frame together.
- Lay the artwork between the acrylic glass and the backing board.
- Slide the parts back into the aluminum frame together.
- Put the short frame rail back and tighten the corner screws almost all the way.
- Position the tension clips again so the backing board is held tightly against the acrylic glass.
- Finally, tighten the corners fully.
Glass
For most of our picture frames, we offer four glass types: standard glass, acrylic glass (plexiglass), non-reflective glass and museum glass. For large aluminum frames like this one, however, we only offer acrylic glass. It is both lightweight and shatterproof and therefore far better suited to large formats with an aluminum profile. Once the protective film has been removed from both sides, the acrylic glass looks clear and gives a beautiful rendering of the artwork.
If you want standard glass, non-reflective glass or museum glass in 60 x 80 cm, you can instead see our 60 x 80 cm wooden frames.

Ordered a frame and it was shipped the next business day and I received it the day after. The frame is beautiful and was well packaged.
I love our beautiful frames from poster art and I had a fantastic experience with customer service. You can blindly trust them to deliver quality both aesthetically and ethically. Thank you very much ❤️ I will be buying all my frames from here.
Extremely good and proactive service, even though the error started with me, it was fixed quickly! And the frame is also super nice.
Bought 2 pieces of 100x140 frames and received very quick and knowledgeable guidance in choosing the type of wood based on pictures sent of where they should hang. They were delivered just a few days later and were very securely packaged. We are SO satisfied and this is not the last time we order from here 😄
Great service. Nice wooden frame with passepartout. Had also ordered a passepartout for another frame. However, I had misunderstood the instructions for measuring so it didn't fit. Posterkunst immediately offered to send a new one with the correct measurements. Very nice customer service.
