Glass
PlakatKunst always gives you the choice between four different quality glasses: Acrylic glass (plexiglass, the most durable) or one of the three different types of real glass: normal glass, non-reflective glass or museum glass, which protects optimally against UV radiation, and is therefore clearly recommended if you want to take good care of the colors of your poster.
Mount
Have you considered whether you should have a mount for the frame? Mount is also called Passepartout or Mat and it's a piece of quality cardboard that is placed between the glass and the poster without casting a shadow on the poster. When you choose a cutout in your mount, you must subtract 1 cm from both top and bottom, so that there is room (0.5 cm all around) to mount the image on the back of the mount. If you have, for example, a 34x56 cm poster, you must choose 33x55 as the cutout. The outer trim naturally matches the glass in the frame.
