About the frame
This golden premium aluminum frame is created for square pictures and posters in 60 x 60 cm. The slightly curved front is only 6 mm wide and gives an elegant, almost floating border around your artwork. The frame's 20 mm deep sides have a refined grooved structure that adds more character to the profile, while the golden finish gives the framing a warm and exclusive look.
If you want to use the frame for a smaller picture, you can add a passepartout. You decide the cutout size yourself, and you can also choose a passepartout without a cutout if your artwork is to be placed on top.
Framing and hanging
On the back of the premium frame you will find two movable brackets, which are used together with the included cord for hanging. The brackets can be adjusted as needed.
How to frame your artwork:
- First, loosen the screws in the four corners of the frame.
- Remove the two hanging brackets from one of the frame bars, and take out the clamps for the backing board.
- Detach that frame bar completely.
- Guide the glass and backing board out together through the open side.
- Place your artwork between the glass and the backing board.
- Slide the glass, artwork and backing board back into the frame together.
- Refit the frame bar and tighten the corner screws almost all the way.
- Put the clamps back in place so that the backing board is held tightly against the glass.
- Finally, tighten the corner screws completely.
Glass
For a relatively large aluminum frame like this one, we generally recommend acrylic glass (plexiglass). It weighs considerably less than real glass and is also shatterproof, which makes it particularly well suited to an aluminum profile. The acrylic glass comes with protective film on both sides, and once the film has been removed, it appears clear and gives a beautiful rendering of your artwork.
You can also choose between three types of real glass. Standard glass is completely clear but gives the most glare. Non-reflective glass has a matte surface that subdues the reflections, while museum glass combines high clarity and very low reflection with UV protection that helps preserve the colors of your artwork.

Ordered a frame and it was shipped the next business day and I received it the day after. The frame is beautiful and was well packaged.
I love our beautiful frames from poster art and I had a fantastic experience with customer service. You can blindly trust them to deliver quality both aesthetically and ethically. Thank you very much ❤️ I will be buying all my frames from here.
Extremely good and proactive service, even though the error started with me, it was fixed quickly! And the frame is also super nice.
Bought 2 pieces of 100x140 frames and received very quick and knowledgeable guidance in choosing the type of wood based on pictures sent of where they should hang. They were delivered just a few days later and were very securely packaged. We are SO satisfied and this is not the last time we order from here 😄
Great service. Nice wooden frame with passepartout. Had also ordered a passepartout for another frame. However, I had misunderstood the instructions for measuring so it didn't fit. Posterkunst immediately offered to send a new one with the correct measurements. Very nice customer service.
