Enter your artwork’s dimensions and choose from over 50 wooden or aluminium frame profiles. Add a mount in 20 colours, a reveal and the glass type that suits your space. The preview shows the frame in the correct proportions.

Design your own frame

Build a frame around your artwork. Start by entering your artwork’s width and height. Then choose from more than 50 wood or aluminium frame profiles, from slim 6 mm to wide 20 mm profiles. The wide 20 × 30 mm wooden frames (width × depth) can be made as box frames with a 14 mm spacer, creating space between the glass and your artwork.

If you would like a mount, you can choose from 20 colours and set its size in two ways: select a standard frame size that suits your artwork, or specify the mount’s border width on each side. The mount can overlap the edges of your artwork by 0.5 cm, or your artwork can be displayed with its edges fully visible and a border in a different colour around it. Most people choose a 0.5 cm border, but the custom border option lets you set your own width.

The preview shows the frame in the correct proportions as you make your choices, and you can upload your own image to see it in the frame. Your image is used for the preview only.

Some options depend on the size:

• Coloured mounts and borders are available up to 81 × 110 cm; white and off-white up to 120 × 160 cm.
• Aluminium frames larger than 70 × 100 cm are supplied with acrylic glass or without glass.

Options that are not available in your chosen size are hidden.

Your frame is made to order in Denmark and delivered within 2–5 working days.

Glass

Learn more about our glass options below. Each has its advantages and disadvantages.

• Acrylic glass: lightweight and shatter-resistant, with reflections. A good choice for large frames and children’s rooms. Frames up to 70 × 100 cm come with 1 mm acrylic, while larger frames use 2 mm acrylic. Acrylic glass comes with a protective film on both sides, which must be removed.
• Standard glass: clear glass with a classic glossy surface and reflections.
• Non-reflective glass: reduces glare from windows and lamps to keep your artwork as visible as possible.
• Museum glass: virtually invisible glass with minimal reflections and the clearest colour reproduction. It blocks 70% of UV rays, while your window glass blocks most of the rest.
• Without glass: for artwork that does not need glass, such as canvas or textured pieces.

Box frames always come with glass.
