White passepartout

Product information

1.5 mm mount with a classic off-white shade. Our mount is made with high-quality acid-free cardboard, so you can frame even valuable art with a mount without damaging the work.

White mats can be made up to 120x160 cm. The other colors only up to 81x110 cm. Please note that the price increases significantly if your mat is larger than 70x100 cm. The reason is that it requires more expensive shipping, and parcel shops do not accept larger packages, which is why it must be sent by courier directly to your address.

Specify correct measurements

Outer dimensions
When you fill in the fields above, you must write the frame's outer dimensions - i.e. the same dimensions as the glass in the frame the passepartout will be used in.

Cutout size
The cutout should always be 1 cm smaller than the width and height of the poster itself. This gives approx. 0.5 cm overlap all the way around and ensures that the motif is firmly attached. Example: A poster measuring 53×67 cm requires a cutout measuring 52×66 cm.

Cutout position

The most common solution is a centered cutout, where the distance to the top and bottom is the same. However, you can also choose a top location, where the cutout aligns the top and sides, so there is a wider bottom edge. Alternatively, you can opt out of the cutout altogether if you want a solid piece of cardboard without cutouts.

Payment & invoice

You can pay with all the most common payment solutions: VISA, Mastercard, MobilePay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, American Express, iDeal and PayPal.
Companies and public institutions that want an invoice or EAN invoicing are welcome to contact us via chat, phone or email.

Payment is handled securely via Shopify Payments, and the amount is only charged when your order has been shipped. You will receive an order confirmation by email, and the invoice will subsequently be in your account at PlakatKunst.dk.

Shipping & returns

All mats are cut to order in our Danish workshop. We usually ship within a few business days - often the next business day. However, during busy periods, production times may be slightly longer.

Returns
You have a 100-day right of return for regular standard products. Custom-made products – including passepartouts – cannot be returned.

Should your passepartout arrive with an error, please send us an email with photo documentation to info@plakatkunst.dk and we will send a replacement.
