Dusty mauve passepartout

Product information

1.5 mm acid-free passepartout in dusty mauve with subtle notes of purple, rosa and brown. The surface has a slightly more textured structure than our other colors, although the difference is only noticeable upon closer inspection.

The cutout in the passepartout is made with a precise 45° bevel, which adds depth and ensures that no shadow is cast onto the poster. The bevel also reveals the white core of the board, creating a clean white edge all the way around the motif.

All our passepartouts are produced from high-quality acid-free cardboard, allowing you to frame even valuable artworks without risking damage to the piece.

How to choose the right dimensions

Exterior dimensions
The exterior dimensions must correspond to the size of the glass in your frame.

Cutout
We recommend choosing a cutout that is 1 cm smaller than the poster in both height and width. For very small formats, a slightly smaller difference may also work. With a 1 cm reduction you will achieve an overlap of approximately 5 mm all the way around. Example: A poster measuring 66×66 cm → recommended cutout 65×65 cm.

Cutout position

A centered cutout creates a classic and balanced look. Alternatively, the cutout can be placed at the top — with equal distance to the top and sides — or omitted entirely if the artwork is intended to be mounted on top of the cardboard.

Payments are processed securely via Shopify Payments. The amount is only charged when the order ships, and the invoice will be available in your PlakatKunst account.

Return
Standard products can be returned within 100 days. Passepartouts and other custom-sized items cannot be returned.

If the product arrives damaged or incorrect, simply send a photo to info@plakatkunst.dk and we will send a replacement.
