Purple passepartout

Product information

Purple mat with a shade that is almost dark brown. 1.5 thickness. This purple mat has more structure in the cardboard than the other colors, which some love while others are not so happy about it. However, you have to be close to notice it.

The hole in a passepartout is cut at a 45 degree angle, which gives depth and ensures that no shadow is cast on the poster. The angle also reveals the white cardboard behind the small surface, so you get a nice white border all the way around the image.

All of our passepartouts are made with high-quality acid-free cardboard, so you can frame even valuable art without damaging the work.

Set the right dimensions

Outer dimensions

The exterior dimensions must match the dimensions of the glass in your frame.

Cutout size

We recommend hole measurements that are 1 cm smaller than the poster in both height and width. A little smaller can also do if the format is very small. With 1 cm smaller measurements you get an overlap of approx. 0.5 cm. Example: Your poster is 66×66 cm → 65×65 cm hole measurements.

Cutout position

A centered hole gives a completely classic look. Alternatively, the hole can be moved up to the top - with equal distance to the top and sides - or omitted altogether if the image is to be on top of the cardboard.

Invoice and EAN are offered upon request.

Shipping & returns

Each mat is cut to order and typically ships within a few business days. During busy periods, delivery times may be slightly longer.

Return
Standard items can be returned within 100 days. Passepartouts and other special measurements are not returned.

If there is a defect in the item, send a picture to info@plakatkunst.dk and we will send you a new one.
