Glass

We give you four different types of glass to choose from for this light blue frame: Acrylic glass/plexiglass (lightweight, shatterproof and supplied with foil) or one of the three different types of real glass: normal glass, non-reflective glass or museum glass, which clearly provides the best protection against the UV radiation, which will otherwise inevitably affect the colors of the poster over time. We therefore always recommend museum glass when you buy one of our old, valuable lithographs or need to frame other art.

Passepartout / Mat / Mount

Do you want a passepartout for your light blue frame? Passepartout is a piece of 1.5 mm acid-free cardboard, which is placed between the glass and the poster, with a cut that does not cast shadows. When you choose cut-out, you must deduct 1 cm in both height and width, which gives you half a cm to attach the poster to the back of the passepartout. If you have, for example, a 34x56 cm poster, you must choose 33x55 as the cutout. The outer trim naturally fits the dimensions of the frame.
