About the frame
28×35 cm (11.02 x 13.78 in) is a classic size for photographs and art prints, with proportions close to 4:5. In dark smoked oak, the picture gets a deep, almost black edge that brings out contrasts and details without dominating. The oak grain can still be seen in the veneer, which runs all the way round the moulding for a consistent look. The 20 mm wide front suits the scale of the size well. The frame can be ordered in a 20 mm depth, light and discreet, or a 30 mm depth, where more wood is visible from the side. The metal clips make it easy to change the motif. A hanger for horizontal and vertical mounting sits on the back.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 28×35 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.

Ordered a frame and it was shipped the next business day and I received it the day after. The frame is beautiful and was well packaged.
I love our beautiful frames from poster art and I had a fantastic experience with customer service. You can blindly trust them to deliver quality both aesthetically and ethically. Thank you very much ❤️ I will be buying all my frames from here.
Extremely good and proactive service, even though the error started with me, it was fixed quickly! And the frame is also super nice.
Bought 2 pieces of 100x140 frames and received very quick and knowledgeable guidance in choosing the type of wood based on pictures sent of where they should hang. They were delivered just a few days later and were very securely packaged. We are SO satisfied and this is not the last time we order from here 😄
Great service. Nice wooden frame with passepartout. Had also ordered a passepartout for another frame. However, I had misunderstood the instructions for measuring so it didn't fit. Posterkunst immediately offered to send a new one with the correct measurements. Very nice customer service.
