Dark blue passepartout with a little more structure in the cardboard than the other passepartouts, which you still have to look close to notice.

The hole is cut at a 45 degree angle, revealing the white cardboard behind the blue surface. This gives a nice white line throughout the mount and poster.

Since we sell valuable poster art, we only use acid-free cardboard for the mount.

The dark blue passepartout goes well with both the oak frames , the light wood frames and almost all the colored frames - not least the blue frames . It certainly adds something positive to the gold frames too!

Set the right dimensions

Outer dimensions

Exterior dimensions must follow the glass dimensions in your frame.

Cutout size

Calculate the hole size as 1 cm less than the poster size in both directions. This will cover the motif approx. 0.5 cm all the way around. Example: Poster 53×67 cm → hole size 52×66 cm.

Cutout position

A centered hole is the most commonly used. Alternatively, you can move the hole higher to create more air at the bottom – or choose a completely closed passe-partout for mounting on top of the cardboard.

EAN and invoice are offered by agreement to companies and institutions.

Shopify Payments handles the payment securely and deducts the amount upon shipment. The invoice can be found in your PlakatKunst account.

Shipping & returns

Mounts are cut to order. Shipping is typically within a few business days – often the following day.

Returns
A 100-day return policy is offered on standard items, but special orders – including passepartouts – are not accepted for return.

Send a picture of any errors to info@plakatkunst.dk and we will replace the item immediately.
