Peter Hansen portrait from 1896 of the painter Christine Swane, née Larsen, as a young person. Peter Hansen was born in Fåborg on Funen, and lived from 1868 to 1928 as a budding Danish painter. He was part of the group Fynboerne, which became controversially known for their technique and motifs.
