Matte silver premium aluminium frame - Narrow (6 mm) - 40x50 cm

About the frame
40×50 cm (15.75 x 19.69 in), with its 4:5 ratio, is a classic size for portraits and art prints and is often chosen when a 30×40 cm poster is to have a mount around it. A matte silver premium aluminium frame gives the motif a timeless, discreet edge that suits both colourful and black-and-white pictures. The gently curved front is only 6 mm wide, and the matte silver finish does not draw attention away from the motif. The premium frame is made by German manufacturer Nielsen and is known for its stability and precision. The side is brushed and 20 mm deep.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 40×50 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.

Ordered a frame and it was shipped the next business day and I received it the day after. The frame is beautiful and was well packaged.
I love our beautiful frames from poster art and I had a fantastic experience with customer service. You can blindly trust them to deliver quality both aesthetically and ethically. Thank you very much ❤️ I will be buying all my frames from here.
Extremely good and proactive service, even though the error started with me, it was fixed quickly! And the frame is also super nice.
Bought 2 pieces of 100x140 frames and received very quick and knowledgeable guidance in choosing the type of wood based on pictures sent of where they should hang. They were delivered just a few days later and were very securely packaged. We are SO satisfied and this is not the last time we order from here 😄
Great service. Nice wooden frame with passepartout. Had also ordered a passepartout for another frame. However, I had misunderstood the instructions for measuring so it didn't fit. Posterkunst immediately offered to send a new one with the correct measurements. Very nice customer service.
