About the frame

Matte black premium aluminum frame for posters and pictures in 50 x 70 cm. The elegant front is slightly curved and just 6 mm wide, so the frame forms a discreet and precise edge around the artwork. The 20 mm deep sides have a characteristic grooved structure, which gives the aluminum profile a refined look and a beautiful contrast to the smooth front.

Framing and hanging

The frame has two movable hangers on the back and comes with a cord for hanging. The hangers can be adjusted as needed, so the premium frame can be hung both vertically and horizontally.

How to mount the poster:

1. Loosen the screws in the four corners of the frame.
2. Remove the two hangers from one of the short frame rails as well as the spring clips that hold the backing board firmly.
3. Detach the short frame rail completely.
4. Pull the glass and backing board out together through the open side.
5. Position the poster between the glass and the backing board.
6. Slide the glass, poster and backing board back into the frame together.
7. Fit the short frame rail again, and tighten the corner screws almost all the way.
8. Put the spring clips back in place, so the backing board is held tightly against the glass.
9. Finally, tighten the corner screws completely.

Glass

For this black 50 x 70 cm aluminum frame you can choose between four glass types: acrylic glass (plexiglass), standard glass, non-reflective glass and museum glass. Acrylic glass is light and shatterproof, while standard glass gives a classic and completely clear framing. Non-reflective glass has a matte surface that reduces annoying glare.

For posters and artworks that you want to protect in the best possible way, we recommend museum glass. It combines very high clarity and low reflection with at least 70 % UV protection, which helps preserve the colors of the artwork over time.
