Our black passepartout with black core matches the black passepartout with white core, but has a deep and uniform color. We use 1.5 mm acid-free quality card, which we cut at a precise 45 degree angle, so there are no shadows around your image.

Set the right dimensions

When entering the measurements above, use the outside measurements, which should be the same as the glass in your frame. We also need to know the size of your poster. The hole we cut will be 1 cm smaller than the poster, e.g. 22 x 24 cm if the poster is 23 x 25 cm. We recommend that the mat overlaps the poster slightly so that it can be taped to the back.

You do not need to specify the exact hole size, just the dimensions, which are 1 cm larger than the desired hole size. If you are in doubt, you can always contact us via Live Chat.

Return policy

As with custom frames, we do not return passepartouts for the simple reason that these custom-made products cannot be reused by anyone other than you. It is therefore very important that you provide the exact dimensions.

If we send you different passepartouts than what you ordered, we will of course correct the error by sending you the correct one as soon as possible.
