Black passepartout with black core

Product information

Our black passepartout with black core has the same color and structure as the black passepartout with white core , but also has a black core so you don't get the white border around the motif.

We use 1.5 mm acid-free quality cardboard, which we cut at a precise 45 degree angle so that no shadows appear around your image.

Set the right dimensions

Outer dimensions

The outside dimensions should be the same as the glass in your frame.

Cutout size

The hole size you specify should be 1 cm smaller than the poster size in both directions, so that there is approximately 0.5 cm overlap all the way around. Example: Poster 53×67 cm → cutout size 52×66 cm.

Cutout position

The most common is to choose a central hole - with the same distance to the top and bottom. Alternatively, you can have the hole placed at the top with the same distance to the top and sides, and more passepartout width at the bottom. You can also opt out of the hole altogether if you want an unbroken piece of cardboard that you can place your picture on top of, for example, with double-sided tape.

Shopify Payments ensures a secure payment process, and the amount is only withdrawn when the goods are on their way. Order confirmation is sent by email, and the invoice can be found in your account at PlakatKunst.dk.

Shipping & returns

Passepartouts are made to order in our Danish workshop. We usually ship within a few business days - often the next day. During periods of extra busyness, production may take a little longer.

Return
You have a 100-day right of return on regular items. Custom-made products – including mats – cannot be returned.

If there is an error in your passepartout, simply write to info@plakatkunst.dk with photo documentation of the error and we will send a replacement.
