This sample of our Green Passepartout measures 15×15 cm with a 3.5 cm wide corner, making it easy to compare the colour with your artwork, frame and interior. It is the darker of our two green passepartout colours. The rich green shade and distinctive surface texture create a calm, classic and refined appearance that pairs especially well with gold frames, oak frames, light wood frames and green wooden frames.
Our passepartouts (also known as mats or mounts) are made from 1.5 mm acid-free premium board to help protect artwork from discolouration and ageing. A passepartout also adds depth to the framing, and your artwork can be positioned either beneath or on top of the passepartout, depending on the desired presentation. Every passepartout is precision cut to your exact dimensions.
The window opening is cut with a precise 45° bevel that reveals the white core as a refined border around your artwork. The bevel also creates a natural gap between the glazing and the artwork, enhancing the depth and elegance of the finished framing.
