Green passepartout

Product information

Dark green passepartout in 1,5 mm acid-free board with a beautiful and distinct texture in the surface. This is the darker of the two green passepartouts we offer. The deeper green shade gives the framing a calm and classic look and works particularly well together with gold frames, oak frames, light wooden frames and our green wooden frames.

All our passepartouts are made to order and cut precisely for your artwork. The dark green color adds depth and character to the framing, while the acid-free board protects posters and artworks against discoloration over time.

The cutout is made with a precise 45° cut. This creates a beautiful depth in the framing and at the same time ensures that no shadows are cast on the artwork. The beveled edge reveals the white core of the board behind the green surface and forms an elegant white line between the picture and the passepartout.

Outer dimensions

The outer dimensions must correspond to the glass size of your frame.

Cutout size

To get a neat overlap, the cutout size should be approx. 1 cm smaller than the width and height of the poster. This gives an overlap of approximately 0,5 cm all the way around. Example: If your poster measures 53 × 67 cm, you should choose the cutout size 52 × 66 cm.

Position of the cutout

A centered cutout is standard and gives a harmonious look. You can also choose to place the cutout higher or to leave out the cutout entirely if the artwork is instead to be mounted on top of the board.

Payment & invoice

Payment is handled via Shopify Payments, and the amount is only charged upon shipment. Your invoice is in your account on PlakatKunst.dk.

Shipping & returns

Passepartouts are made to order and are typically shipped within a few business days. In busy periods the production time may be a little longer.

GLS usually delivers as early as the next business day after shipment and also offers Saturday delivery to parcel shops.

Free shipping on purchases over 899 kr.

Returns
There is a 100-day right of return on standard items. Custom sizes – including passepartouts – are, however, exempt from the right of return.

If an error should occur, you simply send pictures to info@plakatkunst.dk, and we will make sure to send a new one.
