Solid oak frame - Narrow (12 mm) - 30×40 cm

You can choose between four different types of glass for this 30x40 oak frame. Acrylic glass/plexiglass weighs less, cannot break and is supplied with a protective film on both sides. In addition, we offer three types of real glass, namely normal glass, non-reflective glass and museum glass. If you need to use the frame for a picture that you want to preserve, we recommend the museum glass, which provides the best protection against UV rays.

Some posters are better framed with a passepartout, which is a white frame made of quality cardboard that is placed inside the wooden frame between the glass and the picture. For all our 30x40 cm picture frames, we offer white passepartout which fits perfectly with the poster sizes A4 (21x29.7 cm) or A5 (14.8x21 cm). If you have special wishes for the color or the size of the passepartout, you must buy a made-to-measure passepartout.

If you buy an additional passepartout for your 30x40 frame, you must pay attention to the following:

Poster size
Measure your poster carefully and write the dimensions above. We then automatically make the hole 1 cm smaller. If you write, for example, 21x30, the hole will be 20x29 cm. When the cutout is 1 cm smaller than your image, the passepartout extends 5 mm above the image, which we recommend, so that you can easily tape it to the back of your passe-partout.

If you specify 0x0 cm as 'Poster size', we will not make a cutout in your passepartout. You will instead get a whole piece of 30x40 cm passepartout cardboard on which you can place your picture.

Cutout position
Typically, our customers choose a centrally located cutout (with an equal distance to the top and bottom). However, it can also be a cool look  when the cutout is located at the top (equal width at the top and sides, and more at the bottom).

Color
There are 11 colors to choose from and the texture is different on all of them. But they are all made with 1.5mm acid-free cardboard.

Delivery

We ship world wide, and the delivery time depends on your location. We strive to deliver within the European Union within 7 working days, and within 14 days outside the EU.

Standard frames to a parcel rarely takes a week to arrive, while frames with special dimensions and home delivery will take longer.

We send frames with GLS up to 70x100 within the EU. Larger frames and shipments outside the EU are handled by DHL. Posters are shipped with UPS across the globe within a couple of days.

Right of return

You have a 100-day right of return on all products purchased in our webshop except for custom made products (which can´t be returned) and lithographs (14 days right of return).

If you wish to return, simply contact us by e-mail - info@plakatkunst.dk - after which we will send you a return label. The product must be returned in the same condition as it was received. The return costs are offset against the refund.
