Colorful poster with giraffes trying to escape a bloodless hunt for giraffes. The original title is 'Unblutige Jagd auf Giraffen'. 1911 by Austrian Moriz Jung.

Three years later - in 1914 - he was drafted into the military and in September was seriously wounded in Galicia. Having recovered, he had to go back to the front and fell in the winter-long Battle of the Carpathians on 11 March 1915 on the Manilowa Heights near the village of Łubne. He was only 29 years old, but received recognition in several obituaries. Fremden-Blatt said of him: "Jung was one of the most gifted caricaturists of the modern Viennese school. His woodcuts and black-and-white sheets were especially prized by connoisseurs."

An image of the 9 x 14 cm original lithograph has been optimized and edited so that it looks perfect for posters in smaller sizes. is printed with 12 colors on 240 g matt premium paper.
