Ctenophorae Kammquallen by German Ernst Heinrich Philipp August Haeckel (1834 - 1919), who was both biologist, philosopher and artist with a great interest in marine life. He made Darwin famous in Germany, and one of the first to see psychology as a branch of physiology.
