Yellow passepartout

Yellow mat with a relatively light and slightly matte shade. The yellow mat has a little texture in the cardboard.

The cutout is cut at a 45 degree angle, which gives depth to the frame and ensures that no shadow is cast on the poster. The cut also reveals the white cardboard behind the yellow surface, creating a nice white square between the image and the mount.

We use acid-free cardstock so you don't have to worry about framing real art with a passepartout.

Set the right dimensions

Outer dimensions

The exterior dimensions must be the same as the glass in your frame.

Cutout size

The hole size should be 1 cm smaller than the width and height of the poster. Possibly a little smaller in a small frame. With a 1 cm smaller size, the passepartout overlaps the poster by 0.5 cm. Example: If your poster is 33×55 cm, you should choose the hole size 32×54 cm.

Cutout position

A centered hole is the standard, but you can also choose to move the hole upwards or omit the hole altogether and mount the picture on top of the mount.

Payment & invoice

We accept payment with VISA, Mastercard, MobilePay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, American Express, iDeal and PayPal.

Payment is handled via Shopify Payments, and the amount is deducted upon shipment. The invoice is in your account at PlakatKunst.dk, but you are also welcome to contact us.

Shipping & returns

Passepartouts are made to order and typically ship within a few business days. During busy periods, production time may be slightly longer.

Returns
The 100-day return policy applies to standard items, but not to special items such as passepartouts.

In case of errors, simply send pictures to info@plakatkunst.dk and we will send a new one.
