This old map from Jura, which is a French department in the region of Burgundy-Franche-Comté. The capital of the Jura is Lons-le-Saunier and the department has 250,857 inhabitants. This map is part of a series of maps of different areas of France, and all the French maps are in almost perfect condition. This map is the oldest of the French map, which may also explain why it is graphically a little bit different. The most famous cities on this map are Lyon, Dijon, Bourg, Evian, Vesoul, Belfort, Besançon, Lons-le-Saunier and the Swiss cities of Geneva and Lausanne.
