Light yellow passepartout

Light yellow passepartout in 1,5 mm acid-free board with an elegant matte shade and a very fine ribbed texture in the surface. The ribs run vertically and give the board a discreet, lively look that adds extra character to the framing. A beautiful passepartout for, for example, silver frames.

The cutout is made with a precise 45° cut. This gives beautiful depth in the framing and at the same time ensures that no shadows appear on the artwork. The beveled edge also reveals the white core of the board behind the yellow surface, which creates a beautiful and crisp white edge all the way around the picture.

All our passepartouts are made from high-quality acid-free board, so even valuable posters and artworks can be framed without risk of discoloration or damage over time.

Outer dimensions

The outer dimensions must correspond to the size of the glass in your frame.

Cutout size

To achieve a neat overlap, the cutout size should be approx. 1 cm smaller than the actual width and height of the poster. In smaller frames, it can be an advantage to choose slightly less overlap.

When the cutout size is 1 cm smaller than the poster, the passepartout will overlap the artwork by approx. 0,5 cm on each side. Example: If your poster measures 33 × 55 cm, you should choose the cutout size 32 × 54 cm.

Position of the cutout

As standard, the cutout is centered in the passepartout. However, you can also choose to move the cutout upward or leave out the cutout entirely if the artwork is to be mounted on top of the passepartout instead.

Payment & invoice

If you want to order with EAN or a regular invoice, you are always welcome to contact us.

Payment is handled via Shopify Payments, and the amount is not charged until shipment. Your invoice is in your account on PlakatKunst.dk, but we are also happy to send it directly to you on request.

Shipping & returns

Passepartouts are made to order and are normally shipped within a few business days. In busy periods, the production time may be slightly longer.

GLS typically delivers as early as the next business day after shipment and also offers Saturday delivery to parcel shops.
Free shipping on purchases over 899 kr.

Returns
There is a 100-day right of return on standard items. Custom sizes – including passepartouts – are, however, exempt from the right of return.

If an error should occur, simply send a couple of pictures to info@plakatkunst.dk, and we will make sure to send a new one.
