Light yellow passepartout

Light yellow passepartout in 1.5 mm acid-free cardboard with an elegant matte color tone and a very fine grooved surface structure. The grooves run vertically and give the cardboard a discreet, lively character that adds extra depth to the framing.

The cutout is made with a precise 45° bevel. This creates a beautiful depth in the framing while ensuring that no shadows are cast on the motif. The beveled edge also reveals the white core of the board behind the yellow surface, creating a clean and sharp white border all the way around the image.

All our passepartouts are made from high-quality acid-free cardboard, allowing even valuable posters and artworks to be framed without risk of discoloration or damage over time.

How to choose the right dimensions

Exterior dimensions

The exterior dimensions must correspond to the size of the glass in your frame.

Cutout

To achieve a clean overlap, the cutout should be approximately 1 cm smaller than the actual width and height of the poster. In smaller frames, a slightly smaller overlap may be preferable.

When the cutout is 1 cm smaller than the poster, the passepartout will overlap the motif by approximately 5 mm on each side. Example: If your poster measures 33 × 55 cm, the recommended cutout is 32 × 54 cm.

Cutout position

The cutout is centered as standard. However, you can also choose a top-positioned cutout or omit the cutout entirely if the motif is intended to be mounted on top of the board.

Return
There is a 100-day right of return on standard products. Custom-made items – including passepartouts – cannot be returned.
