Rosa passepartout

Product information

Elegant rosa passepartout made from acid-free cardboard with a very light pink tone and a discreet, fine structure. The cardboard is 1.5 mm thick and produced in high-quality conservation material.

All passepartouts are made to order. Your chosen cutout is cut with a precise 45° bevel, revealing the white core of the board. The bevel creates a natural distance between the glass and the motif and adds a refined sense of depth to the framing without casting shadows over the image.

How to choose the right dimensions

Exterior dimensions
The measurements you provide must correspond to the outer dimensions of the frame. These dimensions are identical to the size of the glass in the frame.

Cutout
To achieve a clean overlap, the cutout should be 1 cm smaller than the actual dimensions of the poster in both width and height. This provides approximately 5 mm overlap all the way around. Example: A poster measuring 53×67 cm fits a cutout of 52×66 cm.

Cutout position

The standard solution is a centered cutout, which provides a balanced and harmonious framing. If you prefer a wider bottom edge, you can choose a top-positioned cutout, where the distance to the top and sides remains the same.

You can also choose the passepartout without a cutout if the board is intended to function purely as a background.

Payment is handled securely via Shopify Payments and is only charged once the order has been shipped. Your invoice is available in your PlakatKunst account, and you will also receive an order confirmation by email.

Return
There is a 100-day return policy on standard products. However, custom-made items such as passepartouts produced to specific measurements cannot be returned.

If your passepartout arrives damaged, simply send photos to info@plakatkunst.dk and we will immediately send you a replacement.
