Floater frame in smoked oak

Made to order in Denmark. No returns.

About the frame

Floating frame in a very dark smoked oak veneer, where the entire frame is clad in veneer. The deep, dark tone is very close to black, yet with brownish nuances and a lively wood grain that gives the frame character.

The front measures 10 mm, the outer depth is 35 mm, while the inner depth is 23 mm. The rear ledge, where the work is mounted, is 39 mm wide. When you order, you must enter the dimensions of your picture – not the frame. We produce the frame with inner dimensions that are 1 cm larger than your artwork, which gives a uniform gap of 5 mm all the way around. If you want a different gap, you can simply adjust the dimensions you provide.

Mounting

The artwork is fastened from the back with one screw in each corner, so it floats centered in the frame. For larger formats, it is recommended to add extra screws along the sides for optimal stability. The frame can be hung directly on a screw or a nail in the wall. If you want an alternative way of hanging it, a cord can easily be fitted.

Cleaning

The surface is robust and requires minimal maintenance. It is easily wiped with a slightly damp cloth without the use of cleaning agents. For everyday care, a dry cloth is recommended to preserve the dark, uniform look.
