Fantastically beautiful ship poster from Canadian Pacific with English text which can be translated to: To Canada and the USA - only four days on the high seas .

The poster is a lithograph printed on stone in 1923, designed by Norman Wilkinson (1878 - 1971). He was a British artist who worked primarily in oil and watercolor. He was best known as a marine painter, and one of the absolute best of the time. He is one of the most famous poster artists with some of the most beautiful ship posters ever created. This is one of them. A unique copy in really nice condition.

Condition

9/10 - Patina and a few individual edge cracks on the right side, but otherwise perfect condition.

Framing

If you want a frame for this lithographic masterpiece, you should choose museum glass, which both protects the poster against UV rays and presents it in the most beautiful way, as there is very little glare but completely clear glass.
