Original vintage travel poster from 1938 promoting Krakow Holidays. Kraków is Poland's 2nd largest city with more than 800,000 inhabitants. It is a very old city that used to be the capital of Poland.
The lithograph shows a couple in traditional dress dancing with the old medieval city wall in the background, the lady wearing a colorful skirt and the man wearing red boots and a hat with peacock feathers.
The poster is quite rare, but for sale in a few other places (more expensive than here), so it has been easy to price. However, this is the first copy that we have seen with Danish text. The stand lowers our price, even though the poster will look really nice in a frame - even nicer than in the pictures we have taken.
Condition
5/10 - Large folds and torn a little down the middle.
Framing
The poster's 62x100 cm is not a standard size, but a really nice format and one of the most popular formats from the 1930s. If you want a frame for this poster, you must see our selection of frames with special dimensions. If you choose a frame with the size 62x100 cm, you will get a frame that fits the poster perfectly.
