New York from Glasgow with Anchor Line
We are very proud to offer this unique lithographic masterpiece. We are not sure when this original vintage poster was made, but it is probably from the 1920s.
The poster shows New York City with a lot of ships in the background, including a ship from the Anchor Line, which was a Scottish merchant shipping company founded in 1855 and dissolved in 1980. Read more about Anchor Line here .
The poster is lithographically printed at McCorquodale & Co. Ltd.
We have never seen an original copy of this poster before and only reprints can be found on the internet.
