This sample of our Baby Blue Passepartout measures 15×15 cm with a 3.5 cm wide corner, making it easy to compare the colour with your artwork, frame and interior. It is the lighter of our two light blue passepartout colours, featuring a classic baby blue shade without the subtle turquoise undertones found in the other version. The fine, understated texture gives the surface a refined appearance.
Our passepartouts (also known as mats or mounts) are made from 1.5 mm acid-free premium board to help protect artwork from discolouration and ageing. A passepartout also creates a natural gap between the glazing and the artwork, adds depth to the framing and draws attention to the artwork itself. Your artwork can be positioned either beneath or on top of the passepartout, depending on the presentation you prefer. Every passepartout is precision cut to your exact dimensions.
The window opening is cut with a precise 45° bevel that reveals the white core as a refined white border around your artwork. The bevel also creates a natural gap between the glazing and the artwork, enhancing the depth and elegance of the finished framing.
