German 42x60 cm travel poster from the 1930s designed by Michael Zeno Diemer (1867 - 1939) and lithographically printed at Dr. Köhler & Co. in Munich.
The poster promotes the Kreuzeckbahn, a cable car that operates 1651 meters above sea level. Kreuzeck is an alpine starting point for the Alpspitze. The text on the poster says:
"Die Schwebefahrt zum herrlich gelegenen Ausgangspunkt für highalpine Spaziergänge u. Wanderungen Umfassende Fernsicht Behagliche Unterkunft"
It can be translated as: "The floating trip to the wonderfully situated starting point for high alpine walks and hikes".
At the time of writing, you will not find the poster for sale anywhere else on the internet, nor have we seen it for sale before.
