Norwegian DFDS travel poster from 1955 made by Knut Yran (1920 - 1998) with the text: "Norway - the cradle of skiing". The home country of skiing, the cradle of skiing, etc. were the slogans when attracting tourists to Norway in the winter. This poster is aimed at tourists from neighboring Denmark, with listed departures from Frederikshavn and Copenhagen, respectively.
