About the frame
30×45 cm (11.81 x 17.72 in) is a larger photo format in a 2:3 ratio, well suited to pictures you want to look at every day. A purple frame with a glossy finish gives a large photograph an elegant and calm outline, especially when the motif features twilight, sea or mountains in cool tones. Even in this format, the narrow profile keeps the look light, and solid ayous wood provides strength without unnecessary weight. The backing board is held by metal clips, and the 5 mm front overlap ensures a firm grip on glass and motif.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is the most durable and lightweight option and makes a 30×45 cm frame easier to hang. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image – ideal if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
