About the frame
Many smartphones shoot in a 3:4 ratio, which is exactly the proportion of 15×20 cm (5.91 x 7.87 in). If you have a favourite picture on your phone, it can be printed and framed here without losing anything to cropping. The light oak veneer gives the picture a soft, friendly frame, and the 15 mm wide profile keeps the look elegant and light. The front reaches 5 mm over the glass, so expect a narrow border along the outer edge of the picture. The veneer keeps its appearance for many years, even when the frame is moved around. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 15×20 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.
Choose options
Find the right framing
How would you like to frame your 15×20 cm picture? In our frame designer you can explore the interplay between image and framing and find the colours and materials that suit your picture.
Choose a 15×20 cm frame for a simple framing without a passepartout, or give the picture more breathing room with a passepartout in a larger frame. Try different widths and shades – from a subtle border to a wider framing that gives the image more presence on the wall.
You can upload your own image and see your choices in the preview. When you change the frame or passepartout, the picture follows along, so you can judge the details and put together your framing at your own pace.
