About the frame
Halfway between the small and the large squares lies 24×24 cm (9.45 x 9.45 in) – a size for square photos, art prints and small graphic posters. The light oak veneer gives a friendly, calm impression, and the natural play of grain in the surface means the frame never feels artificial. A 15 mm front and 15 mm outer depth give a narrow profile, and the front holds the contents securely with a 5 mm overlap. The frame is a neutral addition that lets the details of the motif stand out. The frame comes with a stand, so it can sit on a shelf, a chest of drawers or a desk. Thanks to the hanger on the back, the frame can also be hung horizontally or vertically despite the stand – and if you would rather do without the stand, it can be snapped off without much effort.
Glass
- Acrylic glass (plexiglass) is light and shatterproof – a safe choice if the frame will stand where it could be knocked over, or hang in a child's room. It is crystal clear, with reflections just like standard glass.
- Standard glass gives a sharp, clear image and is an obvious, affordable choice for a small format like 24×24 cm, if you don't mind light reflections in the glass.
- If you want to reduce reflections and glare, we offer non-reflective glass, made from real glass, which ensures an even, clear view in all lighting conditions. It is slightly matte, though, so if your artwork has strong colours that should look their very best, choose one of the other glass types.
- For the best presentation and extra protection we recommend museum glass, which is anti-reflective, crystal clear and offers 70% UV protection, helping to preserve the colours of your artwork for many years.

Create the perfect framing
Do you have a 24×24 cm picture you would like framed? Upload a photo of your image if you like, and let's create the perfect framing together.
With our frame designer you can experiment with different frames and passepartouts until you find exactly the colours and proportions that suit the square image. Choose a frame in the picture's size, or give the image more breathing room with a passepartout and a larger frame.
Watch your choices take shape as you go, and see how even small changes to the framing can make a big difference to your picture.
